2. Brand Identity: Emphasising independence reinforces their brand as self-made and genuine, which can attract fans who appreciate and support independent artistry.

3. Inspirational: Artists’ stories of overcoming struggles can inspire and motivate fans, building a loyal and emotionally invested fanbase.

4. Unique Selling Point: Independence and struggles can differentiate artists from mainstream acts, highlighting their unique journey and setting them apart in a crowded market.

However, there are also potential downsides:
